I live in the southern califorina area, beaches that are next to me are, santa monica,newport, seal beach, huntington beach, malibu, all in all, i dont mind going to any of these. or any beach near these. So I want to know where I should go just to rent one for the weekend, or one night. of the weekend…. any ideas?

I’m just wondering because i was thinking about it and if i can find an awsome beach house, then maybe i can show my dad & my family can go 2 hawaii. Im just wondering if there is one, and if u cant find one & if u can find one plz give me a link. But if u cant, give me a link to a fabulous luxury resort for a great price. Plz help!!! My girlfriend and I own a house in town and a house on the beach–in the Florida panhandle. We are both in our early thirties and do very well for ourselves. Our beach house community has “for sale” signs popping up everywhere. Finally we went and talked to some of our beach neighbors and they are all saying the same thing–”we need to downsize…..can’t afford it anymore…..are too extended with credit…..worried about the economy…..”

I am courteous enough not to ask them this question, so I want Yahoo answers to answer this for me. Why do these families (most of them have kids) go out and buy second homes on credit? Why do these people not save and prepare for bad times? Everyone knows that economies are cyclical, with booms and busts. So why don’t the families think about their financial well-being and live within their means? Lastly, I say “middle class” because I am finding out that these people are cash strapped. I consider “upper class” to be people who have plenty of cash stored away. Thanks, Bernie.

ok so me and my friend KATIE really want to go to the beach but neither of us have beach houses.
are good friend maggie has one and we all used to be best friends but we’ve kinda grown apart.

she said she’d takke us to the beach this summer but hasnt yet and shes gone plenty of times with our other friends.
we are getting annoyed and really want to go to the beach and like become closer friends again!!

we dont want to annoy her by asking again but we dont know how else she will take us!
