The Beach House is located behind the Main Library, just off of the Sunken Garden. It’s been more than a decade since I graduated, but I’ve never quite forgotten how good their barbecue was. I’m also based overseas now, so chances of eating there are slim. Would like to try and make it at home. Would very much appreciate a similar recipe. =)

I’d love a location where I can walk to things (boardwalk, beach, putt putt, etc.) I also want a place to rent a house, not stay at a resort or hotel. Our group stayed in Falmouth (Cape Cod) last year and loved being able to bike / walk to places. Where do you suggest next???? Thanks!!!

We are moving to Florida (the Palm Beach Area) from New York.
My husband and I were under the impression that we would qualify for Homestead if we had a permanent, year round, residence in Florida.
A friend told us that only original Floridians could qualify for the Homestead exemption.
Also, does this lower our real estate taxes if we qualify? We’re in the dark about it.
Any insight into this Homestead exemption would be appreciated.

I want to rent a beach house – family of five, three kids ages 15-11. Looking for a nice beach (water not too cold) interesting surroundings, not too commercial, but not isolated either.
Can go anywhere from Cape Cod to Cape Hatteras, NC, and want to keep costs down.
Any suggestions? I know of Cape Cod, Rehoboth Beach, Ocean City, Va Beach and the Outer Banks. Which is best?
